Konkani Film ‘Aiz Maka Falya Tuka’ to premiere on Friday

Cinephile Film Club has announced the premiere of Konkani film, ‘Aiz Maka Falya Tuka’, on Friday 27th January at Maquinez Palace auditorium in Panaji, at 6.30 pm.

The film won the ‘Prasad Lab DI Award & Moviebuff Appreciation Award’ at Film Bazaar in 2020. This is the first-ever screening of the film and it will be attended by the cast and crew, states a press release.

Set in the village of Carona, ‘Aiz Maka Falya Tuka’ (Me Today, You Tomorrow), belongs to the rare genre of supernatural mystery. After an archaeologist unearths a medieval idol, the village is plagued by disappearances and deaths, leaving its residents to run for cover. A few months later, the archaeologist reaches the abandoned village to uncover the source of the affliction that may be closer than he thinks.
